Prayer request: January 2015
Jan prayer requests: We had 13 girls graduate from the program in hair dressing, and we are in our transition month of having new girls/ladies come in. Please pray for the new girls that are coming, pray for the girls that are yet to come, that God will connect them to us.
covering still for the process of my work permit/visa. I am still in the process this month of getting all necessary forms filled out and letters done. The embassy appointment went very well know i just need to 2 letters written for recommendations, and also still need all certificates notarized.
I need major covering as we start the business arm, We have been presented with a wonderful person who will walk me through the whole process please pray as we move forward in this that all paperwork and appointments go smoothly and when challenges arise that I am not frustrated but can lean directly on God and pray through all situations.
Pray for our directors health she has been admitted into the hospital w/ blood clots. Her spirit is great, and the dr.’s continue to monitor her and try to get them to dissolve in the legs, and then she has some in her chest. Pray as well for financial assistance as she has not health insurance. And is an unexpected expense.
I have a vehicle now and am driving so please cover me daily between the roads, taxi’s other cars,boda boda drivers and pedestrians it is challenging. Also a covering over the car itself for protection from break ins and vandalizing, the roads are full of pot holes and ruff terrain that my car is protected and that she lives a long life. But mostly that I can be a blessing to those who do not have a car and for the ministry needs.
I continue to pray for an assistant and project manager. I specifically am looking for someone who will keep up w/ me, think outside the box, and who is a go getter, a leader and can work w/out supervision.
Our sewing project is linked to the business arm and so i am praying for funding, and all that goes along w/ starting the project and our volunteers.
Please pray for all our new volunteers that are coming on board we have 2 new therapists, we have 2 new woman who are teaching discipleship and pray for those not yet here who have a heart, may be get more volunteers who have the passion.
We had 2 of our girls from the home graduate this week and we pray that they will find jobs one is a teacher and the other can work in the tourism industry.
we were approved to get a larger facility and are in the stages of looking for the new place please pray over the transactions and the property itself, pray over the staff member who is looking and negotiating.
FEBRUARY PRAYER 2o15
Pray for the next group of girls as we had a graduation in December and January is our month of preparing and know we head into the next group of girls coming. Pray that we can be a light to the girls that are here and not yet here. Pray for those who need us and that God will point them in our direction or us in theirs.

We thought we had 3-4 sewing machines that were going to be donated to us. And yesterday i got a call and email from both parties that they were no longer available. We were really hoping to have those so we could start. But God’s timing is perfect and we will wait upon him.

and personal prayer i am struggling with the lack of time management of others and systems taking 3-4 times longer and the frustrations of lack of work ethic from others. It is ok if it was a few times, but it’s an actual everyday battle. please pray for my strength and grace.
MARCH PRAYERS 2015
Praise report and prayers- we are moving forward w/ Andrews’s medical stuff. We are looking into him getting insurance so he is covered for a full year. Pray we find a policy that we can afford. Please pray w/ us for his treatment, endoscopy and surgery that all costs will be covered.(andrew is a young man who was sexually exploited I am working w/ a group of about 7 boys/young men)
We were awarded a 15,000.00 grant to do a 1 year project it will be a campaign of awareness in church’s, orphanages, community centers and schools. PRAISE the LORD this is a huge answer to prayer. And a huge asset to stopping human trafficking by bringing awareness to ages 12-24 year olds.
We were awarded 5 scholarships to cross boarder trafficked girls to take the 16 week business coarse that also awards them $500.00 to start a business. Praises for this and please continue to pray for full provisions for this project.
Tomorrow we have a volunteer/ missionary who will be coming to talk about taking on the tailoring/sewing project lets pray that it is a great partnership.
We have a girl at the center that has put her complete faith in the LORD and has quit commercial sex work after being in the streets for 7 years. We are seeing how vulnerable she is and struggling, but that God is providing so much for her. And she is finding her strength in him and not falling back into the life. AMEN…..
Pray for financial provisions as this month a lot of needs have come up and just trusting the Lord for all we need to cover this month.
Continue to lift up staff for protection and renewal each day as we face many challenges.
I prayed that we would be having many girls and right now we are at 27 girls and actually each day we have had about 2 more come in. I prayed I really prayed for them and now we are praying for provisions, but we now that God is faithful and we see the lives of these girls changing right before us and he loves them so much.
please accept my apology for the lost communications i thought i was sending updates out and come to find out my mac was not grabbing the list correctly. I feel terrible that i have been here this long and people were not recivieng my emails.

June Prayer:
Travel mercies for June 23-29th. I will be traveling to a conference in North Carolina.
Prayer for the conference : It's an opportunity for me to learn and I pray that God opens up my mind and allows me to retain and learn as much as possible. I also pray for everyone who is coming to the conference and involved to make it happen.
Renewed strength as I am on the mission field and that I have people who will surround me in prayer and also on the field who will stand strong with me and pray with me and be a team.
Praise report: I was given an opportunity to go to Greece to train in the brothels and to learn about a training program to bring awareness to Human Trafficking and that I can get that program started in Uganda.
July Prayers:
prayer for next 2 months as I prepare to leave. It is a lot of little things to get done and some big things.
pray that my final funding will come in and that I can have one more fundraiser or that I will have monthly supporters who want to partner with me.
Pray that as I work with several partners that we are all able to come together and just bless Rahab and the girls.
I pray for my family that they have a peace while i am gone and know that God has me covered and that his calling on my life is of obedience and going to were he calls me to serve.
