I reconnected and spent some time w/ one of the ladies I worked with in 2013 who went through the 16-week business course. For her business she chose to sell towels. She is located in one of the shopping centers, were she has a small veranda, about 4 feet wide by 4 feet deep. I am SO STINKING PROUD of her.She was able to explain every aspect of her business and her goals for the future. And not only that, but how she’s going to do it. She has been doing this business now for a year.HUGE SUCCESS… I walked away in tears of joy as I thought yep this is what its all about.I asked her to come and talk to the ladies that I am working with now and share her story. She was shy about it, but I told her how proud I was of her and to think back when she first started wouldn’t it have been nice to hear from someone just like her and see that she made it.She agreed and will be coming to our 2015 class. Part of healing for me was to share my story and show encouragement to
other women how much God loves me and through him I have come through it all.
I am hoping to give that same powerful outlet to the ladies I work with.
AMOS
I wanted to give an update on Amos my friend. He is doing so well he brought me veggies and fruits again when he came and had another wonderful week of language class, he also brought his fiancé, Melon. She is so lovely. She will be moving to Kampala to go to school and they will get married in 2 years, Amos wants her to 1^st go to school.I am so blessed to have this young man in my life he is truly an amazing person. He had a great harvest and has enough money to pay for Melon’s school fees.
