Many new UPDATES and my way forward for 2014:
I am home for a few months going to be visiting my daughter and the grand babies and will be headed back to Uganda in June. I will continue to work with Rahab Uganda. But in the meanwhile please see below how God has been moving in my life since i got home and how you can be involved.
Before I left Uganda i was worried about coming home as he had been blessing me with many opportunities and I was in a spot in my life that every thing was clicking and coming together i was pretty torn about coming home and taking some time away,...... but little did I know..... please continue to see how God's timing is beyond perfect.
God’s timing is truly amazing. In short I want to share something that is dear to me. In November 2012 a friend of mine’s daughter was trafficked and it really hit me hard. I had been volunteering with U COUNT(an organization at church that works to give awareness and help those who have been trafficked) and seeing how this monster is destroying so many people in our world. I could not fathom that it would affect me so close to my heart. I didn't ever think it doesn't happen here in Ft Collins or it couldn't happen to anyone close to me. In past experience in my life from losing my brother to suicide I know things are always very close to home. And your world can change in a second. What through me was the way it personally affected me. I had to look way down into my past and how I had lived my life prior to being a Christian. You see I slept with men thinking they would love me; I hung out w/ the wrong crowds and partied. I could be were my friends daughter is. But more than anything what hit me was I had low self esteem and had been seeking my solutions in the wrong things.(BC-before Christ). So my actions back then and the guilt i had in me was rearing up. My past was being presented to me again. The only way i can describe it is i felt such a connection to my friends daughter, that i to use to be in a place of vulnerability like so many of these girls who are being solicited. I wanted a man to love me and I listened to them feed me lines over and over again. I was able to walk a long this journey with her parents and was involved with the FBI and police and trying to find her. It was so hard to leave to Uganda and ask God to take over while I was gone. He did he provided some incredible resources and people in the lives of her parents. (Perfect timing)Not only that I have seen the power of so many people praying for her. During my stay in Uganda I got an opportunity to email my friends daughter and reach out to her. She was able to look at my website and read my blogs and see what I was doing with girls in Uganda who have been sexually exploited and trafficked. It opened up a time of emails and communication. The day after I got home I emailed her and said ok I am home give me your number. I was able to call her and talk and it was a beautiful moment in my life. I didn't try to steer the conversation either way all I wanted to do was be me and love her where she is at. I learned in Uganda that the girls that have been exploited just want someone to love them where they are at with no judgment. I am good at that. I love the people Jesus loves and he loves everyone. Well about 2 weeks ago I received a call that she wanted out and to be honest it is a great blessing she is out and in a safe place to heal. (it was not easy the Devil was fighting us hard because he knew that we reclaimed a child of God and that his love is so much stronger and she was coming home) I could not have asked God for a more perfect time for me to be home. He really times things and it makes my faith grow deeper and deeper as I see blessing unfold each day for so many around me. I use to be a very negative person and stressed out. I still get there but not as much as I use to. I know he provides everything and he makes way for those who follow him and know him. I see things so differently than I use to. God’s journey in my life has transformed me literally from the inside out. He had taken care of my organs in 2012 and in 2013 he gave me such a knowing of him. I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for me.
I read in Beth Moore she talks about her believing in God and he said not to believe in me but to believe him and it was powerful for me. I have really been thinking about that, I believed in him, but do I believe what he promises me. It is my time of faith to BELIEVE HIM.

Awareness:
1. Consider inviting your friends and hosting me for a night to share what I am doing in Ministry. It can be an African Tea and biscuits party and they only last about an hour long. I will supply the African tea/Chai.
2. I am looking to see if anyone would donate 250.00 so I could host a table at Run for Orphans 5K and bring awareness to my ministry.
3. Another opportunity I have is to go to Chicago and go to the Orphan Summit in May. I will be raising money for my plane ticket
4. I also will be trying to go to Dearborn MI to work with a Muslim community. I currently have 2 girls in our business class’s that are Muslim and so the more education I can obtain the more effective I can be. As you know trafficking effects all people it does not discriminate.

I need help with designing a new prayer card, newsletter template and help updating my website and need graphics for a t-shirt idea.
I also need business minded people who can help me as Rahab Uganda moves forward to starting a business to employ some of the girls we have returning from trafficking.
AMOS’S UPDATE
Amos’s funding is at about 260.00 so we are coming along great. I hope that we can get him funded in the next month so we are still in need of 340.00. If you are able to give please let me know. Each week that goes by is harder and harder for him financially. And thank you to those who have donated. Every amount is a blessing.
